Nature has a lot to offer on island Krk. You can enjoy amazing sunsets and chilly summer sea breeze locally known as mistral. Cristal clear, clean blue sea surrounds the island that has hundreds of beautiful beaches. Some are hidden in the bays, some are pebbled or sandy, rocky, some have various facilities like bars or sport centers, and some are quiet and romantic. There are beaches for pets and nudist beaches located in natural bays bringing the man close to nature.
The island Krk is also called the island of Blue Flags. The Blue flag is a world-renowned eco- label trusted by millions around the globe, which guarantees the sea cleanliness and the quality of services offered on the beaches. There are 37 blue flags in Kvarner region, of which 15 are on Krk. In the summer months, the sea temperature rises up to 25°C.
The swimming season lasts from mid of May until the end of September.

Krk’s landscape is lined with thick, dense forests, mountains and features underground caves. Visit the Biserujka cave in the town of Dobrinj – it is a gallery of numerous stalactites, stalagmites and calcite pillars.
All around the island cultivated Mediterranean fruit and vegetable cultures, vineyards and olive orchards grow. The best-known vineyards are located around Vrbnik, where the famous wine Vrbnička žlahtina is produced. Olive growing tradition is one of the longest on island. There are a number of beautiful hiking and cycling trails in this area, which will allow you to get to know the most beautiful Krk olive groves, and enjoy your active holiday!
