The island Krk is also called the island of Blue Flags. The Blue flag is a world-renowned eco- label trusted by millions around the globe, which guarantees the sea cleanliness and the quality of services oﬀered on the beaches. There are 37 blue flags in Kvarner region, of which 15 are on Krk. In the summer months, the sea temperature rises up to 25°C.
The swimming season lasts from mid of May until the end of September.

Visit the Biserujka cave in the town of Dobrinj - it is a gallery of numerous stalactites, stalagmites and calcite pillars.
All around the island cultivated Mediterranean fruit and vegetable cultures, vineyards and olive orchards grow. The best-known vineyards are located around Vrbnik, where the famous wine Vrbnička žlahtina is produced. Olive growing tradition is one of the longest on island. There are a number of beautiful hiking and cycling trails in this area, which will allow you to get to know the most beautiful Krk olive groves, and enjoy your active holiday!
